From the field

What people notice in daily use

Drawn from Softonic notes and common Community workflows.

The SQL editor with Ctrl+Enter execution and multi-statement scripts is what I open first. Connection tree plus results in one place beats juggling browser tabs.

Backend developer · PostgreSQL + SQL Editor · Softonic-style workflow note

Editing rows like a spreadsheet is fast for small fixes. Softonic is right that it can feel heavy on very large result sets, so I keep fetch limits tight.

Data analyst · SQLite + Data Editor · Softonic cons noted

ER diagrams help me explain foreign keys to teammates who do not want DDL dumps. Exporting a PNG for docs is a quiet win.

DBA · ER diagrams · schema review workflow

One client for MariaDB, Postgres, and SQLite samples is why I switched from vendor tools. Community stays on relational JDBC; that boundary is clear.
